Historic Boardwalk Development Read Details De Pere, WI

The bridge site is a vacated parcel at the center of the core of downtown. It was previously occupied by the Claude Allouez Bridge. The bridge was relocated allowing for redevelopment. The site is located at the center of the downtown core of the city. It has access to the primary business district, residential neighborhoods, and riverfront. The project includes three elements: the boardwalk, the plaza and the building. The boardwalk acts as circulation between the main street, riverfront, and a walking trail. The plaza is an area for public gathering that exists between the building forms. Retail, commercial office and residential apartments fill the three floors of the building. The projects anticipated cost is approximately $20 million, including construction and public improvements. It's intent is to be a catalyst for redevelopment in the city.
